Role of a Change Agent in an Organization

Have you had the opportunity to be a change agent? I was delegated into the role for a short time and it was challenging as my organization was going through an acquisition\merger. Employers wanted to know honest facts about what was going on within the organization. And the impact to their jobs. My responsibility was to gather facts, listen to employee concerns and report the known.
