Review the stages of infection: (1) incubation period, (2) prodromal stage, (3) full stage of illness, and (4) convalescent period. Relate the process and stages of infection to the unique role of the infection preventionist in the hospital setting.Also mention in your essay the unique role of the infection preventionsit in the hospital setting.
