U.S. health care is different from any other health care setting in the world. The U.S health care environment is referred to as a system as it has numerous features, components, and services offered. Understanding this system-based approach is critical for allied health care professionals.

Identify two current trends seen in health care today and the affect/change these are having on our current health care system. Discuss the appropriate skills needed to manage these trends within one’s scope of practice.
