If you were given the task of providing an educational session regarding teratogens to women who were planning to get pregnant, what information would you consider vital to your presentation? If a participant stated that she believed that a few cigarettes and a glass of wine per day would not be harmful, how would you respond? What research-based reasons for not smoking or drinking would you provide to the participant?
