Healthcare Policy

  1. Prior to reviewing the video, please identify (a) a health and/or healthcare policy problem/issue and the population as seen through the eyes of you, a current or future healthcare leader. Questions to consider: Following your graduation, what area of healthcare are you being called to enter? As you plan for this healthcare focus paper, what healthcare-related problems/issue/s has the Holy Spirit placed in your heart to revise/implement in your current or future role as a healthcare leader?
  2. Class activities will include each student will provide a max of a 10-minute presentation during the session identifying: (a) the healthcare issue and/or healthcare policy problem/issue/s and b. within which specific population?
  3. Please a. Identify and explore the problems/issues of your topic by understanding its prevalence & incidence within an identified community of people; (b) identify what area in the government (local, state, or federal) this specific problem/issue is related to; and, (c) identify community partners, collaborators, and/or stakeholders that will serve as a resource as you create and advocate for change.
