General Psychology 100
Requirements for research papers

These papers are not to be a synopsis of the information you read or material you have gone over, rather they are to be a reflection of your understanding. This is accomplished by incorporating the course material or reference material into a workable context of your choosing.
• APA format: Double spaced, black Times New Roman 12 point font.
o Please use resources available to you under learning modules on Blackboard to help you properly format your paper as well as use proper in-text citations.
 Parts of the paper:
• Title page
• Body/ Introduction/ Literature review
o Proper in-text citation: Author(s), year
• Reference page
o APA uses an author, year, title of work, publisher format for bibliography: Example (book)
